What Camello costs
Every account starts on Free, and Free is not a trial. Prices are per site: one business's website, with its store if the store lives at another address, is one site. A second business is another site at the same price. Monthly or yearly, your choice; both numbers are below.

You upgrade from your plan page, and that is the only time a card is asked for. Billing runs through Stripe; your card never reaches Camello. Cancel from the billing portal with one click; the paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the site moves to Free. A Shopify store that installs Camello from the Shopify App Store, once Camello is listed there, pays the same prices through Shopify: the plan is chosen in the Shopify admin and appears on the store's Shopify bill.
A free site with no sign-in for 90 days pauses its checks until you sign in again. We email you first.
How much should a small business pay for SEO?
It depends on what you are buying: a person's time, a report, or the changes themselves. An agency sells time and judgement and usually ends its guides with "hire us". A monitoring tool sells a report. Camello sells the changes, made and then measured, from $0.
We do not quote agency prices here because we did not measure them. What we did measure is what the AI answer engines themselves say a small business pays for AI visibility monitoring, in the next question.
How much does an AI visibility tool cost?
Monitoring tools for a small business run about $20 to $100 a month, and enterprise platforms run hundreds to thousands. That is not our estimate: it is what ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude and Google's AI Mode answered when we asked them on 2026-10-17. Camello is free to start, $24 a month for Starter and $49 for Pro, and the price includes the site changes, not only the report.
| Tool | What the engines said it costs (2026-10-17) | What the engines said it does | Who it is for, in the engines' answers | Vendor's own price (checked) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Otterly | from $29 a month | monitors AI answers, reports | the small-business pick | to check on ship day |
| Semrush AI toolkit | about $99 a month | monitors AI and search, reports | marketers with a Semrush account | to check on ship day |
| Peec AI | about €89 a month | monitors AI answers, reports | mid-market | to check on ship day |
| Profound | hundreds to thousands a month | monitors at enterprise scale | enterprises | to check on ship day |
| Camello | Free; $24; $49 | measures Google and AI answers, generates the changes, applies them with undo, measures again | US small businesses with a website or an online store | this page |
In the AI engines' answers on 2026-10-17, every tool named was described as monitoring and reporting. None was described as changing the site. Starter at $24 sits below every entry price the engines quoted except the $20 floor. We are not the lowest price at everything; we are the one that also makes the change.
Can I do my own SEO for my business?
Yes. All five AI answer engines say the same: it is mostly good site basics and local listings, done consistently. The hard part is not knowing what to do. It is doing it every month and knowing whether it worked.
That is the part Camello automates. It measures, generates the fixes, website updates and fresh content most likely to move the measurement, writes the exact wording, and checks a month later. What stays yours is the click, the filming and the posting. You can also take the free check's three changes and make them by hand; the wording is on the page.
What does an SEO agency do that this does not?
An agency can talk to you, build you a new site, write at length about anything you ask, run ads, get you press and pick up the phone. Camello does none of those. It is automated software, with no person behind the screen, and it says so.
What it does instead is narrower and repeatable: measure the same things every month, change five specific things on your existing site with your click, draft posts in your voice for you to publish, and tell you plainly what moved. If you want someone to talk to, you want an agency, and that is a fine thing to want.
Can you automate SEO?
The measuring, yes. The proposing, yes, if every proposal shows its finding and its exact wording. The applying, only with a click and an undo. The judging, yes, if "too early to say" is allowed as an answer. Camello automates those four and stops there.
What cannot be automated honestly: writing in your voice without ever asking you (so we interview you once), publishing in your name (so you click Publish), and promising an outcome (so we do not).
How long does it take?
Weeks for the engines to re-read a changed page. One to three months to see movement on a search, longer on a competitive one. That is the engines' own answer and ours.
Camello checks a title or description change after 28 days, a heading or structure change after 42 and structured data after 60. Until the window closes, the card says "too early to say", and we never round that up to "worked".
What is not included?
- No person. Camello is automated software. Support answers are written in advance and kept current; for anything they do not cover, there is support@camello.ai, answered by Eldrin AI LLC, not a help desk.
- No phone.
- No guarantee of a ranking, a mention or more customers. We measure and report what we saw.
- No video. We suggest what to film and what to say; you film it.
- No posting. Drafts and social posts are made for you to publish; we never post in your name.
- No outreach. We never email your customers, prospects or anyone else for you.
- No changes without your click. One-click changes are for WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify; on other builders you paste each change in yourself, with the steps shown.
Questions about pricing
How much should a small business pay for SEO?
It depends on whether you are buying a person's time, a report or the changes. Camello sells the changes, made with your click and measured a month later, from $0. The AI answer engines put monitoring tools at about $20 to $100 a month for a small business (asked 2026-10-17).
How much does an AI visibility tool cost?
About $20 to $100 a month for monitoring, by the engines' own answers on 2026-10-17; enterprise platforms run hundreds. Camello is free to start, $24 a month for Starter and $49 for Pro, and includes the site changes.
Can I do my own SEO for my business?
Yes. It is mostly site basics and listings done every month. The hard part is doing it every month and knowing whether it worked, and that is the part Camello automates.
Can you automate SEO?
The measuring, the proposing, the applying with a click and an undo, and the judging. Not the voice without an interview, not publishing in your name, not the outcome.
How long does it take?
Weeks for a page to be re-read; one to three months to see movement; longer for competitive searches. Camello says "too early to say" until its window closes: 28, 42 or 60 days depending on the change.
Is there a card on the free plan?
No. A card is asked for only when you upgrade, on the plan page, through Stripe.
Is the price per site or per account?
Per site. One business's website is one site, and a store that lives at another address (shop.example.com, or a Shopify address) is a connection on that same site, not a second site. A second business is a second site, added from Your sites, at the same price.
How does a Shopify store pay?
The same prices. A store that installs Camello from the Shopify App Store, once Camello is listed there, pays through Shopify and manages its plan in the Shopify admin. A store connected from Camello pays through Stripe like every other site.
Can I cancel?
Yes, from the billing portal, one click, no call. The paid plan runs to the end of the period you paid for, then the site moves to Free. Nothing is deleted when you cancel; deleting is a separate step on the account page.
What is not included?
A person, a phone, a guarantee, video, posting, outreach, and one-click changes outside WordPress, WooCommerce and Shopify (elsewhere you paste the change in yourself).
Prices are per site, in US dollars. Camello is automated software; nothing on your site changes without your click.
